Quite A Summer

I honestly thought once school was out, we might have a little down time, but alas, that has not happened.

And, since we are now 10 days away from the next new school year, the down time I envisioned is like an elusive sighting of Bigfoot.

Although this weekend, I did go to the salon and had my hair re-purpled. It is VERY purple. Now maybe people won't say, "I like your pink hair."

So, I did do something this summer. I'll add a pic later, after I get myself showered, coiffed and do my kabuki face. I can't be seen looking like a hot mess.

Today is gonna be a busy one. At least I can get many things accomplished and perhaps - just MAYBE - have a day to do whatever I want to do tomorrow! :-) I hate having chores and/or errands hanging over my head.

I hope all my hooligans have a great Tuesday!

Love,

  1. Can't wait to see your hair. Have you given any thought to when you might not have it dyed that colour. I mean I'm sure you'd be a great gran, but purple hair at 85!

  3. I can't believe how fast summer has gone. I feel like I was just complaining about not having summer plans and all of the sudden, we were so busy and now it's almost over!

Enjoy your last few days of summer fun with your precious kids! I'm in WV this week doing the same. We're headed to a cabin over the weekend then home to Indy and school and schedules!

  4. I don't miss Summer that much, I'm totally looking forward to Fall and some nicer temps. Of course that will only last a week or so before winter kicks in full speed.
