Super Cool!

A Facebook friend of mine sent me an invitation to join "Influenster" which is a "is a free-to-join community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences."

Imagine my surprise when I was chosen to receive the #JAdoreVoxBox!

It also came with Vaseline Men Spray Lotion (#MenSpray) which I gave to the Evil Twin. It's perfect for him because he cannot stand greasy or sticky feeling lotions on his skin.

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.

Well, let's see....The Hershey's Kisses were a big hit and the bag did say "Family Bag", so my kids really helped themselves.

I used the Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask before my shower yesterday. My face and neck felt so smooth afterwards.

Kinda scary looking, I know, but worth the 10 minutes I had to spackle my face! :-)

Then, I used the John Frieda Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight Flat Iron Spray after my shower. I used the spray, dried my hair then went at it with my flat iron. My hair looked amazing.

I haven't tried the teas or the KISS lashes yet, but I'm sure I will have fun with that. I've worn KISS lashes (not all the time, but special occasions) for the past 20 years and I love tea, so can't go wrong there. I've had a blast trying these products and writing about them, too! I'm the happiest clam in Clamville!

Have a great Wednesday, hooligans!

That's What I Call a Break!

Prior to the Christmas break from school, Sissy got the stomach bug that had/has been going around. She threw up all day and into the night on Wednesday. Thursday was a 2 hour early dismissal day and even though she said she felt better, I kept her home. Friday was their first day of Christmas break.

After the break, they went back on January 2, which was a Thursday. Then, we had snow, so there was no school on Friday. Then, we had more snow and the temperatures plummeted into the negatives, so no school Monday, no school Tuesday and this morning was a 2 hour delay.

We've had quite the holiday break! I've really enjoyed the time off, but now my routine is so out of sorts, it'll be February before I'm back on track.

The kids had a nice Christmas - made even nicer by the Evil Twin's co-family (what I call his co-workers, because they are more like family to us). They had "Santa" deliver a bunch of candy and gifts for Buddy and Sissy. It was awesome!

I spent all my free time indulging in my favorite luxury: reading! I think I read 5 or 6 books total. My poor Kindle is ready for a holiday, I think. I love that thing! Especially when it's loaded with FREE reading material. Yes, I'm such a tightwad, I search for the free stuff and I enjoy every minute of it!

Now, I need to get back to my regular routine. I think I'll start in earnest on Monday. Might as well enjoy the rest of the week and weekend being in a state of confusion and the fuzzy "reading brain" (I tend to get so wrapped up in a book, it's hard for me to switch gears to the "real world" sometimes). LOL.

Hooligans, enjoy your Wednesday! Stay warm and be kind!

Love,
