One of My Favorite Songs

The Evil Twin sent me this video in an email this morning.

This chick seems sweet and she's obviously dedicated, if not a bit misguided.

It reminds me of the American Idol contestants who have family and friends saying they have a lovely voice when they really just do not.

I know I can't sing, and therefore, you will never see me on YouTube paying tribute to a song I love.

  1. Dear god... this must be a hoax. Please say it is. :)

  2. I had to quit 56 seconds in (almost the entire first verse) Between her tooth and lack singing skills, it was really painful.

At least I saved the cube farm here by listening to it on my ear buds.

The ear buds are unfortunately, a total loss.

  4. Is it just me or does it look like she's got a line of drool coming out the right side of her mouth?

  5. I have acquired pitch. Listening to 440 cycles per second as an "A" note has been beaten into me in college.

When she started singing, I almost puked....not because she is that bad but because if I hear anything other than 440 cycles per second in tonality, it really hurts. Sort of like having a massive tooth ache or an instant migraine when you hear someone scratching their nails on the blackboard.

    Ouch!

  7. For me it is teeth. I can deal with the voice, but the teeth are a no go.

  8. Yup, I blame the well meaning friends and family of this misguided rocker-wannabe.
Sad, I really hoped she'd be able to sing, you know, to kinda make up for the rest of a pretty unfortunate set of features.
    Poor thing.

  9. I couldn't watch. Just seeing the tooth is enough for me. Poor thing. The toothless thing freaks me the heck out.

  10. Oh my Lord.......When she leaned back in the chair to dance I was expecting to hear the thing crumble and see her pink fuzzy slippered feet in the air...and the teeth! AAHHHHH!!!!

  11. I made it :39 into the video before whispering "Oh, Sweet Lord" and scrambling for the pause button. I really, really, REALLY wanted her to have talent.
