My First "Salon" Experience

We had many items from my parents' house and the Evil Twin decided to auction off a collection. It sold for a good price and he said we could split up the proceeds and all get a last gift from grandpa.

I decided I wanted my hair did. At a full service salon. I knew it wouldn't be cheap, but I had to check it out. You all know I'm a cheapskate, so for me to spend lots on my hair doesn't really jive with who I am.

With my hair being purple and black - and the roots over the purple were growing out, I really didn't want to deal with the bleaching and coloring routine by myself, plus my darker hair had plenty of greys to cover.

I made an appointment for Saturday. The tech I had an appointment with was young, but super nice and attentive. She did a great job on the hair. It was nice to be pampered a bit and have my hair washed by someone other than myself. Plus, whatever she put on my hair smelled sooooo good.

Anyhoodle, I was there for over 2.5 hours...That's a long time in the chair, but it was very interesting.

I noticed a really neat painting beside the mirror and asked if it was a well known artist in town here. My hair tech said no that her dad had painted it. Later, a guy came in and she said, "She really likes your painting." But, the guy looked like her brother and not her dad, so I just kept quiet. I didn't want to be a complete dork.

In a bit, she finished up with my hair and we all chatted while I paid the bill. Turns out, her dad is someone I know - not well - but he is one of the Evil Twin's closest friends from the way back machine! I couldn't believe he had a daughter old enough to be an extremely skilled hairdresser! It's such a SMALL world!

Without further ado, here is my new hair:

Not the best shot, but hey....I take them myself, so ya get what ya get.

Hope all of my hooligans are having a nice Monday. Remember to send in a secret or two at eviltwinswife@gmail.com, so we all have something to look forward to and you all get an awesome shot of my cleavage! :-) It's a Win-Win. DUH!

Love,
