I am slowly getting back into my routine. Having my sister here was great fun, but all we wanted to do was chit chat all day, so not much time was spent on the computer. I'm finally catching up on all the blogs I love to read.

I'm just having to jump back in on the most current entries. So, you'll be "seeing" a lot more of me from now on. I know you love that.

So...Valentine's Day: The Evil Twin brought home a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. Hey, big spender! You have to remember I am a box o' wine gal. Anything over $10 and has a cork is a big deal for me. What can I say? I'm a cheap date.

As I said yesterday, I had bought the kids (the 3: Buddy, Sissy and Buddy's friend who is staying with us this week) small heart boxes of Russell Stover's chocolates. And, I bought a slightly larger heart box of the Hershey's Pot of Gold chocolates for the Evil Twin and I to share. The kids were super excited. I don't think they expected it and the grown ups have been enjoying their bounty as well!

The only thing that would have been better is if I could tell everyone to flake off and get to sleep all day. Alas, that does not happen for moms, and especially not on a school day. I have to spend my day on the road....dropping off, picking up, etc.

Anyhoodle, don't think I've abandoned you, my hooligans and please don't abandon me, either. (all 7 of you). Thanks in advance! :-)

Have a great Tuesday, hooligans!

  1. Box Wine Rawwwwwwks. Cheers ETW!!

  2. Ain't nothing wrong with box wine!

  3. I have a few friends who drink nothing but Kendall Jackson chardonnay, but I'm a shiraz gal, especially the type from Australia (naturally I can't remember the name of it).

Nice of you to keep Buddy's friend this week!

  4. Is that one box of wine a night? How do they package it in the US. By the litre of the gallon?

  5. Hey I've been MIA for almost two weeks myself...glad your getting back into the swing of things!

  6. Matt-Man - I like the Franzia Chardonnay. Yum!

Jennifer - I know! And the price is right!

Kenju - KJ is too expensive for a wino like me, but it was a nice treat. BTW, you know the friend who is staying this week. :-)

M - By the litre. One box is 5 litres, so it lasts a good few days. LOL.

Chandra - This time of year is always just crazy for me, no matter what!

  7. Love the tat by the way. What a great way to bond with your sister. I am sure the kids loved their treats. I wish my dad got me some chocolate!

  8. I'm a fan of the cheap stuff too, that way I don't feel bad when I throw a bunch of juice and ice in it. I've even been known to head right for the Arbor Mist so I don't have to spend extra on juice.

  9. 8...there are 8 of us. I may not comment much but I am a fan..no doubt.

  10. I think seeing more of you is a great idea. And your blogging more is great too. ;-)
