You know what's cool? It's cool to see how other people live, where they live, how they live. You have a beautiful home and you guys did a wonderful job on the kitchen. You deserve a BIG glass of wine for that!
Ginger - I bought mine at a local Shoney's (restaurant).
Chandra - Oh, trust me, I got my big glass of wine! ;-)
Honey - I have a phobia about clutter on the counters. I even use a hand operated can opener b/c I don't want an electric one sitting on my counters! LOL.
Great job! I love all the colors in your home. It's so nice and light. I tried that but my rug ended up looking like a hobo camp with weird unexplainable stains on it. I can't imagine how people keep carpet throughout their house and actually keep it clean! I'll stick with hardwood!
I have so much I want to update when I can. It's crazy. This house has not been updated since the mid '70s, or longer. I need to paint EVERY room, put new flooring in kitchen and bath, get new countertop and sink in kitchen, and buy new bathroom sink. Yeah. I barely get the basics done right now, so good luck to me on that!
I just love to hear you talk! Thanks for giving me a little Southern touch to my day.
Did I see a middle size fiesta pitcher for your utensils? Brilliant! I have to go find mine now and totally rip that idea off. It is not big enough for anything else so it sits unused in my cupboard!.
Take care and certainly enjoy the results of all your hard work!
Thought I would tell you that I keep up with mileage, expenses and medical bills to write off on our taxes. Last year we had almost 25,000 miles we wrote off JUST for medical travel. It's crazy to think we drove that much. I think we will have almost that much if not more this year as well!
Nice job! Now, I was thinking that perhaps you could have a video theme.... maybe on Thursdays... just thinking out loud here....
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen looks great, you guys did a beautiful job.
ReplyDeleteOooooooooooh. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Looking good!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Where can I get myself an ASAP sign?

ReplyDeleteI so want one of those ASAP signs! And for you to come clean my counters. The junk these accumulate is horrific.
ReplyDeleteRon - You're a hoot!
ReplyDeleteShiny Rod - Thanks! We really love it.

Really nice job.....I have a cart just like yours but with butcher block on top. Like the touches of red. So....do you talk baby talk to the bird?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get home and watch it and hear that lovely accent again! I bet it looks amazing.

ReplyDeleteNo, I do not want your bird. Please keep it.
ReplyDeleteBut we do have the same Foreman grill. And everything looks great!

Rosemary - I actually do not baby talk the bird, but they do like quieter voices, like females and children.
ReplyDeleteThe Dish - We're very happy with it!
Mary - I'm addicted to Oxyclean! LOL.
Tiff - Thanks - we are VERY glad!
Tiff (other one) - you'll need to do a video so I can hear you. And see your gorgeous girls again! :-)
TGG - Thanks!
Tamis - Thanks - and yes, rip off the idea! Fiestaware can be repurposed for so many things!
BB - Thanks!
Kenju - Thank you - you'll need to stop by if you're in town again.
The Dish - I love that grill and yep, we'll keep Apple. I do love him even though he is a pain in the ass.
Tiff - Whew! I'm glad there is some way you can cut down on those travel expenses.
Your kitchen looks great! That color will be especially cheerful in the winter months. A touch of color makes all of the difference in the world!
