Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!

I hope all my friends and family out there have an excellent holiday season. It's 9:30 am on Wednesday and I've already baked some chocolate chip cookies. Whew - Santa will have a few cookies (with any luck - if my crew doesn't eat them all by this evening).

We watched Elf last night. The Evil Twin and I had seen bits and pieces of it, but never all the way through. It is really funny! I love Will Ferrell anyway - he's always so goofy.

I think I'm going to get a shower and perhaps whip up some waffles on my new grilly thing.

Then, I'm making a half recipe of the Mild Mexican Appetizer. I think we'll have plenty of things to snack on today! :-)

My house smells so yummy. I placed an order with Sabrae a few days ago and my pod warmer and pods arrived yesterday! I have the apple spice on right now and it's heavenly! I have to be careful about scents/candles because of our bird (birds have very sensitive lungs, so I don't like to burn candles).

    Merry Christmas! Mmmmm.... Christmas waffles, Mmmmm...

    I got a Buddha water fountain from Sabrae a little bit ago and it's cool. Looks like Buddha is sitting on a rock with a bladder control problem. Probably not the intention of the designer, but I like it :)

    Elf is such a great movie! That's one we watch every year.

    The only cooking/baking I have done this year is a few dozen sugar cookies, which still haven't been decorated. Usually, I have homemade fudge, divinity, and cookies at the very least. I even did it last year. This year sucks ass...
