Plus, I'm just preoccupied by different things. I don't know why, but I can't seem to clear the clutter from my brain.
Unless I can shake this, I think I'll take the day off tomorrow. The Evil Twin will be home on holiday - that will be nice.
I think we plan on doing some burgers on the grill for Independence Day. We'll sit on our front lawn and watch the fireworks that the city does over by the river.
The way our house sits, we're high up enough to see the display without having to drive over and get in the thick of the crowd.
So, we have some fun things coming this weekend. Maybe that will shake me out of my fog. :-)
I'll be around to visit all my regular blogs in a bit. First, I need a shower! It's been kind of overcast the last couple of days and I suspect that has something to do with my funk. Not all, but contributing to it.
At least, it has been warm!

ReplyDeleteI think it is hard to sit at a computer and compose anything during this time of year. Kids, pool, play and all that entails. Take the day off and enjoy it. That is when something will come and smack you right in the face.

ReplyDeleteI, at least, got 2 movers to arrive at my house today to quote me, so I'm a bit more happy than I was yesterday. The fireworks next year in Fredericksburg should be exciting compared to the no spot on the map where I live now, lol!

ReplyDeleteWe had fireworks here on July 1st, our equivalent of your July 4th. We can see them from the solarium at the back of our house. So, like you, we don't get stuck in the mob. This year the grandkids had a sleepover. Stayed up waaaay past their bedtime to see the pyrotechnics, then promptly fell asleep.
St. Albans' fireworks were last Saturday.
