There is too much to do...

And, I have less than 3 hours to do it all, so I'll leave you all with a question.

If I were to say, "middle of the night", would that be before, after or around midnight (12 AM)? Is 3 AM the "middle of the night" or early the next morning?

I say anything after 12 AM is early the next morning. The Evil Twin disagrees and says that 3 AM is the "middle of the night".

What do you hooligans think? And have a happy Monday!

Love,

  1. 3 AM is absolutely the middle of the night in book. Around 5 AM or so would start early the next morning.

  2. I agree with you. Anything after midnight is the next morning.

  3. It depends on what I'm doing. If I awake at 3 am - it's "the middle of the night". If I come home at 3 am after partying it's "early next morning".

  4. I generally believe that 3AM is the middle of the night as it tends to be the midpoint of when I'm normally sleeping.

  5. Hmmm that's one to ponder on, but I often say "middle of the night" & know that I mean any thing after mid nite & b4 5am!

  6. I say that the Middle of the night constitutes the hours of 11pm through 1 am.

See? Technically, the exact middle of the night is Midnight. However, one must give an hour either way to show good form!

  7. It depends really. Is this during daylight savings time?

  8. I'm with Evil Twin. Middle of the night is when it is dark and I should not be awake. 3 am counts for that ;-)
